    I had a Belgian waffle maker which I picked because it made big, super thick waffles. But I discovered that those are too big to eat more than one, which is no fun. So I started looking for a maker that would give me waffles like I get at diners. This is perfect, and an incredible value. It takes about 1/3-1/2 cup of batter per waffle and they come out just under an inch thick, and about 6.5" across. As other reviews have mentioned, it's also easy to clean since the whole thing is nonstick.

    I've gone through a couple cheap waffle makers over the years that I've been less than impressed with, the worst being a square one that took over half an hour to make two batches. This thing blew them all out of the water! So far so good. It cooks evenly and it's super fast! I mean, so fast that you'll have a delicious waffle for breakfast in less time than it takes to make a bagel with cream cheese or cereal. I'm impressed. It made the best chocolate chip waffles I've never had. This is a keeper for sure.
